Fire Safety Systems Step into the critical role of Senior Test Engineer within our Fire Safety R&D team, based in Parsippany, New Jersey. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety of communities globally, as you advance the testing and certification of the next generation of fire safety systems. Join our mission to set industry benchmarks and propel innovation in life-saving technologies. You'll make a difference by: Driving the regulatory testing and certification process for fire safety products, collaborating with Certification Agencies such as UL and Factory Mutual (FM). Managing and maintaining all aspects of regulatory documentation, ensuring our products meet and surpass industry standards. Leading and mentoring a dedicated team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Acting as liaison between our internal development teams and external regulatory agencies, streamlining communication and ensuring compliance. Utilizing your technical acumen to resolve complex regulatory testing issues, working closely with development engineers to ensure product integrity and reliability. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution. 5+ years of experience in regulated products or a closely related field. Proficiency in managing regulatory projects and interfacing with certification agencies. Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without the need for company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conducting UL CTDP tests. A track record of leading engineering teams to success. Deep knowledge of UL864, UL268, ULC-S527, UL2572, ULC-S576 standards. Demonstrated ability to effectively determine root cause and troubleshoot complex equipment. Passion for innovation and a desire to take on leadership responsibilities. An advocate for safety and quality, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
