Contractor Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior UX Designer with 8+ years of experience in designing consumer mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects that reach millions of users in a fast-growing market.
This is a remote position, offering contract work for 20-40 hours per week (the hours will likely be front-loaded to the first several months) over a 6-month period. Hours are flexible, but availability for working and attending meetings in the late afternoons/early evenings Pacific Time is required, as the engineering team is based in the Asia Pacific region. The ability to rapidly iterate in a dynamic environment where requirements are quickly being defined is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the UX design process from concept to delivery for consumer mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, information architecture diagrams, mockups, create personas and journey maps, high fidelity prototypes.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Develop design systems and guidelines for our mobile products.
Conduct functional and visual QA.
