About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Credit Officer for Business and Professional Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end lending process within the US Commercial Bank for the assigned relationships and portfolio. This role is pivotal in delivering a wide range of financial solutions to clients, including working capital solutions, term loans, and M&A financing. The Credit Officer will be expected to have a deep and relevant professional and business services industry expertise, particularly in commercial and cross-border lending, and to ensure that the credit process is in line with internal and regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities include credit underwriting, due diligence, structuring, documentation, and portfolio monitoring. The role also involves managing a material amount of credit risk, providing sector and sub-segment insights, and leading credit-specific risk assessments.Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in credit underwriting, portfolio, or risk management within a large multinational financial services organization. The role requires an experienced senior credit underwriting executive with a strong credit sense, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work across a range of credit products. The Credit Officer will be expected to mentor and develop junior staff, recommend process improvements, and work proactively with internal and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, with advanced degrees and certifications considered a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate learning agility, the ability to make timely and transparent decisions, and a proactive approach to managing the credit portfolio.
