Overview:
Align Social Impact is seeking a visionary Senior Vice President (SVP) to join the New York team's growing social impact practice. Align is a full-service impact agency at the nexus of storytelling, research, culture and systems change, and we specialize in serving brand, nonprofit, talent and foundation clients worldwide to accelerate their impact in ways that can be felt and measured. The SVP will provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of our agency's operations, growth initiatives, and client engagements. The SVP will play a crucial role in shaping our agency's direction, managing team members, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in delivering impactful solutions to our clients. Additionally, you will oversee various client and account divisions and initiatives to ensure alignment with the organizational goals.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledgeable about current trends and best practices in the social impact sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Align's executive team to develop and execute the organization's strategic planning
- Provide visionary leadership and set strategic priorities that align with the agency's mission and goals.
- Serve as a key ambassador for the agency, nurturing and expanding client relationships, and driving business development efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and funders
- Oversee all operational aspects of the agency, including finance, human resources, IT, and administration, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth and expand Align's impact
- Monitor industry trends and best practices, providing insights and recommendations to inform organizational strategies
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to support the achievement of organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
- Lead development of and accountability towards client account workplans
- Lead client accounts, managing the team, strategy, resource allocation, prioritization, client relationships, client meetings, and deliverable quality and timeliness
- Represent Align at conferences, events, and other public forums where necessary
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role in agency or consulting organization, with a track record of driving organizational growth and success, preferably in the nonprofit, CSR and/or social impact sector
- Fluency working with UHNWIs, talent, nonprofit leaders, philanthropists and executive business leaders
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Knowledge of the social impact sector and familiarity with current trends and best practices
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

More Details:
- Reports to the Chief Executive Officer
- Full-Time, New York City (Hybrid role)
- Estimated 35% travel required
- Must be authorized for employment in the United States
- Preference for advising or consulting projects pre-employment
- All employees undergo a 90-day probationary period for both parties to ensure fit
- Rate to commensurate with experience $160,000-$180,000
