About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Quality and Safety to lead its inaugural team dedicated to monitoring, reporting, and excelling in internal and external quality metrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of a broad-based team, with the goal of achieving and sustaining top decile performance in quality and safety. This role involves serving as the system liaison for all quality and patient safety initiatives, promoting integration and alignment to improve outcomes across the continuum of care, and fostering a culture of safety. The SVP will also be instrumental in the education and development of executive leaders and will lead efforts in quality improvement education and training for all staff.The ideal candidate for this position at the company will have a master's degree with a clinical major, current RN registration or the ability to obtain it, and a minimum of 10 years' progressive quality and safety management experience in an acute care setting. Experience in an academic medical center or a large, complex health system is preferred. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in change management, experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and a strong background in establishing and monitoring quality and safety metrics. The candidate should be an inspirational leader, capable of motivating colleagues and staff, and must demonstrate a passion for the mission and performance of the organization.
