Job Type Part-timeDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe Server Assistant/Food Runner will work in both FOH and BOH to deliver food items to guests, prepare non-alcoholic beverages, prepare some light food items, deliver beverages to guests, assist in the set-up, cleaning and clearing of the dining room. Server Assistant/Food Runner Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist servers in properly serving food and beverages
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next patrons
- Ensure food and beverages have been made and garnished properly
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages
- Some light food preparation
- Ensure orders are grouped together and that customers receive the right order
- Must be able to work positively with all staff members, independently and as part of a team
- Uphold the standards of the organization at all times
- Ensure that your station is kept clean, organized and closed properly at end of shift
- General cleaning and maintenance of work areas, complete all assigned daily tasks

- Must be able to multi-task
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and as a team
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to maintain a high quality of friendly and attentive service to our patrons
- Must have very strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to bend, stoop, stand for up to six hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds
