Job Description
As a Server Assistant, you'll be bringing customers to their seats, helping serve food, refilling water glasses and other beverages, and restocking food items in the kitchen and servers' stations. You'll clear and clean tables, and reset them with tableware and napkins for the next guests. Server Assistants provide support to the serving staff to ensure daily efficiency within the restaurant. It is a high priority to keep communication very clear and open throughout the Front of House team including management to uphold the standards set out by the leadership team.

* Collaborate closely with Culinary staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests' tables.
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs and inquiries promptly and professionally
* Ensure robust knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu offerings along with staying current on any menu changes/updates.
* Refill water glasses as needed throughout service.
* Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests.
* Remain in compliance with federal, state, and local food service regulations.
* Assist with setting tables by ensuring accurate placement of placing appropriate plateware, utensils, glassware, silverware, decorations, and napkins.
* Support the serving staff by helping with bussing tables and refilling beverages as needed
* Work efficiently to enhance the overall dining experience for our patrons
* Clearing plates, glassware, and silverware throughout service as needed.
* Follow food safety protocols and handling procedures to uphold high standards of hygiene
* Any other duties as assigned
Rate: $15/hour + tips
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
* Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
* Knowledge of basic food handling practices and safety regulations
* Willingness to assist team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations
* Familiarity with kitchen operations and terminology is a plus
