Job Summary:We are in search of diligent Dishwashers and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. Both roles are paramount to ensuring our events and dining experiences meet the highest standards of professionalism and excellence. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work at various upscale venues and events across the city.Dishwasher Responsibilities:Cleanliness & Organization: Ensure all dishes, utensils, and glassware are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.Operate Machinery: Utilize industrial dishwashers; ensure machinery is cleaned and maintained.Waste Management: Dispose of kitchen garbage and recycling as required.Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean workspace that meets health and safety standards.Support Kitchen Staff: Assist in basic food preparation as directed.Restock: Replenish dishware in serving stations.Teamwork: Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.Banquet Server Responsibilities:Manage all banquet event setups from linen arrangement to buffet setups.Provide professional, timely, and efficient service, including food and beverage setup, transport, and service.Address any client or guest issues promptly and report to the supervisor on duty.Execute closing duties, including clearing items and setting up for future events.Uphold a safe, harassment-free environment and adhere to all policies, regulations, and standards.Attend pre-shift meetings for event details and departmental updates.Adhere to the departmental dress code and represent the agency in a professional manner.Handle irregular schedules and shifts, which might change on short notice.Ensure accurate cash handling and Point-of-Sale operation when necessary.Qualifications & Requirements for Both Roles:Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.*Skills: * Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.*Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for extended periods.Adaptability and flexibility to handle a fast-paced environment.A commitment to punctuality and reliability.Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards.Ability to operate in busy environments.Interested candidates are invited to apply with a resume highlighting experience.Note: Depending on specific event or venue needs, additional responsibilities might be assigned.Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $12.50 per hourExpected hours: No more than 32 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceSchedule:Day shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededWork Location: In person
