SERVER - Mount View Assisted Living : Job Details

Job Summary: Dietary team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of residents by providing dietary support. This position is responsible for meal preparation for our residents in a variety of ways including preparing and serving meal, dish washing, preparing beverages, stocking, working tray line, setting tables and meal orders and plate delivery.

Job Duties:

Remain aware of menu options for the day and meeting diet needs of residents seated in the dining room/diner during designed mealtimes

May serve plates to residents in dining room/diner, making sure residents receive food and items that they order so they are able to enjoy their meal(s)

Clear, clean and set tables for next meal

Prepare and pour beverage during mealtime

Clear food and prepare serving area

Assemble food items to be offered as evening snack

Assist in cleaning duties as assigned by dietary manager. Such as kitchen and serving areas.

Assist with care and maintenance of kitchen equipment

Assist with the completion logs for meal census, serving temperatures, serving times, and other quality management procedures.

Follow standards set forth in accordance with approved facility policies.

Arrive to work on time, regularly, and work as scheduled, responsible for own transportation

Attend staff meetings or in-services as scheduled by department manager

Observe and practice confidentiality of resident information and privacy when preforming job duties

Recognize and follow dress code of the facility including wearing name tag at all times

Performs all position duties according to safety riles and standards of practice required for this position, and is required to ensure the general safety of staff, resident and visitors of facility

Demonstrate high level of customer service towards residents, staff and visitors

Consistently demonstrate the ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary

Perform other work duties as assigned by Department Manager
