Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed and instructed by the Dining Services management team.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
- Serve meals to the residents and set the table in the dining rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas including but not limited to vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
- Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
- Wash pots and pans as needed.
- Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
- Dispose of garbage appropriately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe certification if required
Experience: None required; 1+ years of dining services experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service skills
