Jr Blvd MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL BETWEEN BOTH LOCATIONS JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a Service Access Manager responsible for the overall customer service and patient access activities of North Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat satellite offices. The front desk team (PSAs) and surgery schedulers will report to this role. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirect and coordinate all patient scheduling activities including check-in, check-out, surgery scheduling and financial services activities for NCEENT satellite offices.Maintain interface with physicians, patients, and administrative staff to provide information and to resolve problems relating to clinic services and patient experience.Plan and schedule work for the front-end staff, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities. Train new personnel and fill-in as backup if needed.Directly responsible for all personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, vacation schedules and maintaining payroll for these teams.Develop policies and procedures to improve patient care and utilization of clinic resources.Enforces regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPPA, Joint Commission, etc.). Accountable for enforcing and following internal controls, particularly as it relates to cash management. JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred.Requires six years of experience of a progressive nature in a healthcare setting to become knowledgeable of the complex activities associated with healthcare services. An Associate's degree in healthcare or business may substitute for two years of experience. A Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business may substitute for four years of experience. JOB HOURSThe schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
