Job Description :
Position Summary:Provide electronics, technical and mechanical support to service and repair Bay Tek/Skee Ball products to our internal/external customer. From building sub-assemblies for customer orders to repairing electrical components sent in from customers Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair any problems that surface with Bay Tek products
  • Provide technical expertise to support the production floor
  • Assist in training of the production staff in troubleshooting & problem solving
  • Perform circuit board troubleshooting to diagnose common problems.
  • Complete daily Advance Replacements
  • Start to learn Basic Repair troubleshooting
  • Provide electro-mechanical repairs of Bay Tek components
  • Maintain a log for Advance Replacements and Repair & Returns (Data Entry)
  • Build assemblies to support inventory/KanBan levels.
  • Used game tracking, tagging, repair and completion for resale
  • Establish priorities to maintain the timely completion of assigned responsibilities
  • Flexibility to take on tasks as they are assigned above the daily responsibilities
  • Ability to Palletize larger items that are needed to ship out
Materials and Equipment Utilized:
  • Hand tools, Assembly Equipment
  • Safety equipment: Safety glasses, hearing protection as required, cut resistant gloves as required and steel toes in required area.
Working Environment:
  • 100% - Manufacturing environment; clean, low to moderate noise, safety glasses required and other personal protective equipment where applicable
RequirementsEducation and Training:
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Flexibility : can adjust to change and tolerance for stressful conditions
  • Dependable: must have excellent attendance
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Basic understanding of electronics preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Able to work with small hand tools to build assemblies
  • Able to hand solder
  • Basic skills required to perform electrical and mechanical problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use a personal computer to perform data entry tasks
  • Ability to work independently, and proceed with objectives with limited supervision
  • Ability to follow assembly manuals

Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal
Physical Requirements:
  • Be able to lift 10-50 lbs. for short periods; up to 100lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to stand for several hours per day, sit, and bend.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
