Service Automotive Valet - Mitchell Buick-GMC : Job Details

We value our employees and invest in their success and need to hire a Valet/Porter to make sure vehicle flow is running smoothly, shop is clean and provide courtesy shuttle service. This is a great entry level position. We offer:

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly, courteous manner (as needed)
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot (as needed)
• Safely drives courtesy shuttle and runs errands (as needed)
• Maintains the parking lot in a neat and organized manner
• Maintains the shop in a neat and organized manner
• Removes debris from service lane, driveway, etc. as necessary
• Follows company safety policies and procedures
• Take out trash and scrap tires
• Keep shop floor clean with floor machine
• Other duties may be assigned
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Service Manger

Requirements:

• Experience is preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Friendly and courteous with a positive attitude
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
• Good work ethic and thrives in a team environment
• Well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to work every other Saturday
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
• Must be 21 years or older for insurance coverage
• Must pass pre-employment background check, MVR and drug screen

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Standing for long periods of time; Typically may bend, stoop, lift or carry objects weighing up to 85 pounds
• Work Scheduled Mon-Fri (7:30-6:00) and every other Saturday (8:30-4:00)
