As a Service Care Coordinator, your tasks will include: - This position involves hands-on work in our teaching kitchens with adults and families, including assisting with class scheduling and management. It will involve travel to Portland one day per week, most weeks
- Managing incoming calls, assessing client needs, scheduling appointments, and processing referrals for various services
- Assisting hands-on teaching in kitchen classes for adults and families.
- Reminding patients of upcoming class enrollment, managing patient text message platform for nutrition classes, processing patient surveys
- Ensuring patient information is complete and providing administrative support
- Encouraging client participation, presenting program information at meetings, and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- One year of administrative support and customer service experience
- One year's health care or social services experience
- Applicable license or certification
- Valid Driver's License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
Skills: - Bilingual (English/Spanish) welcomed (level 9 for bilingual differential pay)
- Skilled in planning, coordinating, and organizing work projects
- Proficient in delivering professional written and verbal presentations
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent at interacting with the public, patients, and staff professionally
- Knowledgeable in understanding and applying program requirements and relevant regulations
- Knowledge of the social and health agencies in the area and the services they provide
- Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Basic proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
