JOIN US as a Service Engineer and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. Due to an excellent period of growth, this is a newly created role reflecting a need to increase headcount in-line with demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, servicing and commissioning of EDM and laser machine tools.
  • Preventive and reactive maintenance at customer sites.
  • Maintenance of equipment within it's manufacturing facility.
  • Providing installation and commissioning support for new systems and technical upgrade packages.
  • Providing technical support and training internally and externally.
  • Higher level technical and software support for the team in the field.
  • Software updates and assistance with retrofitting designs

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will have excellent all-round skills in electrical/electronic maintenance disciplines. The required level of competence and experience cannot be attained without recognised, time-served type training.
  • Must have good experience of working with machine tool software/control systems ideally in a Beckhoff or Delta Tau environment
  • Must have experience working with PLCs in a machine tool or similar environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America
