Service Coordinator / Customer Service job summaryCelebrating almost 30 years serving Lubbock, our client is looking for a customer service rockstar for their Office Assistant/Receptionist/Dispatcher position to help with the organization and running of daily administrativeoperations of their growing company. The ideal Receptionist will be a very friendly, hard-working professional with a high level of standards and excellent customer service skills who is able to undertake a variety of office support tasks. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Service Coordinator responsibilities
  • Receive incoming service calls and assign appropriate technicians.
  • Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
  • Dispatch crews, vehicles, or other field units to appropriate locations
  • Monitor the route and status of service technicians to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
  • Create work orders and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
  • Monitor and update job statuses in dispatching software on a daily basis.
  • Assist and Create proposals for clients.
  • Manage and schedule monthly preventative maintenance.
  • Assist technicians with part orders.
  • Work directly with the service manager on ongoing jobs
  • Provide follow-up calls with current and potential clients.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication while assessing their service requests.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies,
Service Coordinator skills
  • 2+ years working in an office setting, customer service and/or dispatching experience.
  • Strong communication skills and active listening
  • Ability y to multitask during high call volume.
  • Familiarity with dispatch systems and practices
  • Ability to adapt/ respond to different types of situations.
  • Ability to multi -task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, Word, PowerPoint
