Service Coordinator - University Health System : Job Details

RESPONSIBIILITIES The Service Coordinator-Non-Clinical (SC-NC) supports medical, behavioral, and social support staff within the Service Coordination team to provide a holistic evaluation of STAR Kids Members individual dynamics, needs and preferences while providing education and health-related information to the Member, the Member s Legal Authorized Representative (LAR), and the Member s Support Network. Provides direct and indirect service coordination support to STAR Kids members and performs clerical duties to include scheduling, authorizations processing, telephonic outreach, and the generation of required reports. Complies with University Health System s and CFHP s policies, procedures and protocols for establishing and maintaining good working relationships with co-workers, Health System employees, patients and guests. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. A bachelor s degree is preferred.
