Documentation required, but no billing restrictions so staff member has ability to work in a creative and adaptive manner. Clinical supervision provided by an LICSW for those seeking licensure. Perfect position for skilled visionary with clinical skills who enjoys building relationships, developing programs and community connections, and working with a diverse group of individuals who will be housed in a brand new building with office space on site! We have an opening on our Service Coordinator team for an open-minded, strengths-based professional to provide case management and coordination of services for tenants who have a variety of needs and goals. We seek candidates who are invested in working alongside individuals to find long-term solutions to establish and maintain stability while housed in permanent supportive housing units in White River Junction, Vermont.The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively with agencies and community partners to coordinate services. Strong rapport-building skills, perseverance, outside-the-box thinking, creativity, and developed clinical skills a must. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment which requires multi-tasking, problem-solving, and a boots-on-the-ground approach. Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously while performing home visits and community-based work. Candidate consistently follows all guidelines for the timely submission of required documentation. This position may require limited travel within the Upper Valley and company vehicles and/or mileage reimbursement are available.Benefits Ourbenefits package includes medical, dental, vision, paid holidays,over 5 weeks paid time off, life insurance,and a matching 403(b) retirement plan. Peer support and weekly clinical supervision a top priority.Compensation This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position with some scheduling flexibility. The salary range is $52,000 to $56,000 depending on education and experience.Requirements Critical to the success of this position are:
  • Knowledge of risk factors associated with homelessness, as well as knowledge and experience working with issues of poverty, mental health, and substance misuse
  • Experience working with individuals and families with complex needs
  • Strong advocacyandcrisis-management skills
  • Creativity, flexibility, resiliency,and empathy
  • Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with co-workers and community partners
  • An ability to use a strengths-based approach to build relationships and solve problems
  • Able to work with a defined caseload of 15 households with consistency over time.
  • Strict attention to detail and maintenance of appropriate records
  • Demonstrates the highest ethical standards and maintains confidentiality
  • Valid driver's license
Qualified applicants will have a BA or higher in Education, Human Services, Social Work, Counseling or a related field. Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
