About the role:

As a Service Desk Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting and maintaining IT resources to ensure end-users operate efficiently. You will provide comprehensive support for both office-based and remote employees, addressing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly. Your responsibilities will include using modern tools and technologies to enhance service delivery and system performance.

Responsibilities:

* User Support: Address and resolve user issues related to hardware and software, ensuring that problems are resolved without recurrence. Provide proactive and friendly support for both on-site and remote

employees.

Manage a high volume of support tickets efficiently while being available for extended hours to ensure comprehensive user support.

* Technical Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Windows 365 Virtual Machines, Intune for application automation deployments including autopilot for endpoint deployment, and Jamf for macOS management. Manage and troubleshoot systems including Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure, and Okta.

* System Administration: Handle account automation with tools like Adaxes. Perform configurations, installations, and troubleshooting for various systems and applications like Teams, OneDrive, along with video conferencing hardware and software.

* Issue Management: Collaborate with the engineering team to find resolutions, document solutions, and ensure effective problem resolution.

* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and update reference documentation, ensuring all support requests are detailed with resolutions for future reference.

* Project Involvement: Participate in IT projects and contribute to process improvements and system upgrades.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Familiarity with modern IT tools and platforms, including Windows 365, Intune, Jamf, Adaxes, and ServiceNow. Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with the issue reoccurring.

* Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with engineering teams

Job Requirements:

* This position would suit someone with a minimum of three years' experience working in an IT support role.

* You must be a self-starter with the drive and skills to manage your workload and be able to work on your own initiative to assist reach their deadlines.

* Ensure there is effective collaboration and communication with your team and peers.

* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage across multiple, often time sensitive initiatives.

* Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

* Display a strong sense of urgency.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a few considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards.

Salary range: $75K-$95K
