Part-time. The Service Desk Associate is responsible for responding to the needs of all members at the Cooper Fitness Center. Their primary role is to coordinate check-ins and customer service needs on a regular basis.Schedule: varies; including week days and weekendsEssential Duties & Responsibilities Provide exemplary customer service to members, guests, vendors, and fellow teammates. Respond to customer comments and questions in an appropriate and timely manner. Responsible for answering and directing calls on a multi-line phone. Responsible for processing point of sale transactions, laundry distribution to members, reserving tennis courts, private Pilates and other classes, locked locker and other locker room issue resolution. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality work environment; including having a high level of teamwork and cooperation as well as strong communication. Support the mission statement and core values. Maintain a clean, organized work environment. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating clientele in these areas. Attend all mandatory staff meetings and service related events. Enforce CFC rules (i.e. shirts, closed toed shoes required, phone policy, kids polices). Follow all policies and procedures for Cooper Fitness Center as designated by the Service Manager and policy and procedures manual. Other duties as assigned.Not quite a fit? Requirements Experience in customer service environment (hotel, spa, fitness, or retail). Excellent customer service skills required. Strong ability to recommend and educate the clientele on programs and services. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. CPR Certification required or complete within 30 days upon hired.
