Service Desk Opportunity Summary:
* This role is highly interactive and requires significant experience or the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills*
The Service Desk Technician will work with other members of the IT Support Team to provide technical assistance and support to computer systems, hardware, and software.
Job Duties:
* Provide first and second-level technical support in response to incoming IT Service Desk tickets while providing excellent customer service.
* Provide timely feedback, and follow through with end users in response to Service Desk requests.
* Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software-related problems for both local and remote users.
* Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
* Ensure proper documentation of all Service Desk-related activity in the Service Desk Ticketing System.
* Ensure proper documentation for supported hardware/software in use throughout the organization.
* Perform new PC imaging and setup as needed.
* Provide training to end users as needed.
* Recommend IT procedure modifications or improvements.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience in a Help Desk/Customer Support role is required. The ideal candidate should have strong desktop support skills, experience supporting remote users, and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Candidates must be self-motivated and capable of prioritizing their tasks and requests. Reliable transportation is required as there will be some local travel involved.
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 Administration
* Active Directory user administration
* PC imaging/deployment
* Basic network troubleshooting capabilities
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
* Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school.
