This client developed a unique digital technology, creating a new category of printing for the commercial, packaging and publishing markets. They helped develop the most sophisticated printing computer machines used in most packaging makers across the country. They need to hire Service Engineers to be part of the service team that will complete machine start up, demonstrations, maintenance, and repair services and remote support. They are specifically looking for folks with any sort of mechanical, electrical or electronics background that can be trained for the role. They need folks that enjoy learning state-of-the-art equipment and can be the face of the organization, enjoy maintenance and want to grow.Responsibilities:- Transfer of technical knowledge to press operators to resolve on-site technical issues- Escalate complex issues to the company's worldwide teams to ensure optimal and effective treatment of customer issues- Harness technical knowledge on the technical aspects of the presses, to maximize both press production and productivity- Perform low risk troubleshooting and repairs on the designated equipment- Perform supervised calibrations, installations, and preventative maintenance- Read, analyze, interpret, and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams- Prior to new machine shipment contact or, when required, personally visit the customer to thoroughly review and gain the customer's agreement to install the machine in accordance with company's installation recommendationsMost days you will be going to the same customer site in a designated area, but there may be times where you have to occasionally travel to other customer sites.Base salary depending on location. Relocation expenses and full benefits.The client will conduct full on-boarding and training for the candidate on their machinery.
