The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing short-term repair requests and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The role involves organization, communication, and collaboration with customers and subcontractors. - Manage and oversee short-term repair requests, ensuring timely completion.
- Coordinate and follow up on the status of jobs and required documents.
- Maintain regular correspondence with customers and subcontractors to keep all parties informed on job progress.
- Understand the scope of work, create schedules, and manage subcontractors accordingly.
- Ensure strong communication and writing skills in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and problem-solve to keep projects on track.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage end-to-end invoicing process for all projects, ensuring timely acquisition and verification of necessary documentation.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand the scope of work, scheduling, and management of subcontractors.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management or a similar role (preferred).
- Understanding of all aspects of construction, including MEPs, with both residential and commercial experience highly preferred.
- Ability to determine the scope of work from a remote setting through photos, videos, and written details.
- Strong communication, computer, construction software, and writing skills.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities and openness to feedback for continuous improvement.
- Understanding of basic accounting is a plus but not required.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals.
- Proficiency in software: Microsoft Excel, Windows, Word, Outlook, and other standard computer skills.
- Ability to work in the office on the computer, phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Availability for on-call weekend rotation to handle emergency scenarios as needed.(After hours and weekends.)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Education:
- High school diploma is required; some college coursework is a plus.
