We are looking for energetic, customer service oriented, career-minded individuals to join our successful team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production activities, such as recruiting, training, motivating, and leading a team of Lawn Care Technicians, to meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, supervise, assess, and coach Lawn Care Technicians to customer service and production requirements
• Help develop and implement programs and training necessary to ensure that all Technicians are aligned with the goals of the department
• Schedule, track, and report daily production and prepare reports on a regular basis for review with the Operations Manager.
• Perform quality control and maintain customer relationships, resolving their concerns and making service recommendations in a timely manner
• Participate in the planning, development, and execution of the company's strategy for the development of the department
• Manage the production department's budgets and resources.
• Plan and execute successful, yearly door-knocking campaigns.
• Maintain a fleet of vehicles and equipment and manage inventory levels.
• Ensure production facility(s) are organized, clean, and safe.
• Manage and enforce all company policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety policies
• Perform related duties and responsibilities to meet company objectives

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 - 4 years in a supervisory position
• Previous experience in lawn care not required, but an asset
• Ability to work in a results-oriented team environment
• Strong technical knowledge
• Mechanical knowledge an asset
• Customer service oriented
• Valid pesticide applicators license, or willing to obtain one
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass DOT exam
