Service Operator
Wilsonart, Temple has an immediate opening for a Service Operator. This individual provide runs to the presses using transport table(s) and lowboy lift. Perform other tasks as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Load collated or hand-assembled runs on transport table(s).
* Verify count and finish designations of each run.
* Transport runs to the presses without incurring any press lost time.
* Return pattern boards to the pattern racks or assembly.
* Deliver any left off or damaged pattern replacements to the press.
* Inspects rolling stock, changes batteries as needed, and reports any maintenance issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Knowledge of safety standards applicable to work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
* Must be trained to operate lowboy lift.
* Ability to understand and follow directions.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to read and understand production schedules.
* Working knowledge of Oracle to read assembly decorative issue screen and pattern pull screens.

EDUCATION
High School Graduate or GED
EXPERIENCE
1 + years
Applicants must have one (1) year layup experience in assembly, custom laminate or pressing. If no applicants possess this experience, the Company will accept six (6) months manufacturing experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Heavy work - Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling material 50 to 100 pounds.
Position consists of working rotating shift work to include week-ends.
