Job Title: Service Order Dispatcher in Washington, D.C.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position receives, records PM and Work order tickets in the GSA Maximo system, and distributes work orders and preventive maintenance tickets to service crews.
- Receives customer requests for service records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered, prepares work order and distributes to service crew, schedules service calls and dispatches service crews.
- The Service Order Dispatcher calls or writes to the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders.
- Dispatches work orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular phone equipment.
- Processes timesheets and prepares Purchase request forms for entry into JD Edwards accounting system.
Qualifications:
- Computer experience, Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Email.
- Maximo experience preferred but not required.
- JD Edwards Accounting experience preferred but not required.
- Customer friendly and able to speak clearly and answer the phone / radio, communication devices.
- Preferred experience in Facility Management.
- Must be able to acquire a GSA Public Trust Clearance (HSPD-12)
