Position Information: The full time Service Parts Coordinator is responsible for customer service and incoming sales. This position will work directly with the Parts Inventory Manager and will also be responsible for promoting additional sales and exceptional customer satisfaction to increase parts sales. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet every customer, every day
- Maintain high ethical standards when dealing with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Put safety first. Adhere to all Safety Policies, Procedures and Personal Protective Equipment standards
- Pull and verify order to eliminate revisits and tech downtime
- Quote correct menu & matrix pricing.
- Fill job correctly to minimize excess special orders
- Keep source list up to date and utilize every avenue to complete customer orders
- Coordinate with parts teams to route parts to building as quickly as possible
- Ensure we are responsibly ordering quoted jobs as to provide correct quotes the first time
- Monitor CDK Dashboard for Incoming quotes
- Ensure we are answering quote requests as soon as possible
- Communicate with service teams to clear and complete queue
- Update pricing and availability as needed
- Complete requests in a timely manner
- Maintain high shop throughput by watching scheduled appointments
- Properly distribute parts to techs to ensure workflow
- Provide timely responses to all part requests
- Assist in parts room inventory to ensure ongoing accuracy
- Review prework orders nightly
- Pull and stage parts for quickly fulfillment of RO
- Deliver parts to assigned technician in timely manner
- Review for areas of opportunity to improve fillment rates
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, as well as ensuring the entire facility is orderly, clean and free of hazards
Requirements Qualifications: Valid driver's license and good driving record. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Previous automotive parts experience preferred. Working Conditions: The Service Parts Coordinator will work and move about the Parts department in a warehouse-type environment. S/he will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. S/he must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. S/he will move about the parts area to work with the parts team as well as using a computer.
