It's simple – we are a relationship-focused company that cares about people.To learn more about Stonetrust, please visit www.stonetrustinsurance.comPosition Description:Primarily responsible for providing support to underwriting and finance departments as well as other staff by supporting various administrative functions. Also responsible for following operational workflows and best practices while ensuring service levels are met. Additionally, handles all customer service and billing calls including customer service hotline and/or website inquiries to provide exceptional customer service and support to internal/external customers.The position reports directly to the Underwriting- Operations Manager.Essential Functions:• Daily Batch Cycle- all business produced the prior day; sort, mail, distribute, etc. in accordance with underwriting guidelines.• Assist underwriters and agents as needed.• Review and process endorsement requests.• Process all underwriting incoming, outgoing, and returned mail, etc.• Handle all customer service and billing calls and/or direct to appropriate person if additional assistance is needed.• Assist in the administration of the audit billing and collections process as needed.• Audit, correct and verify all necessary information prior to policy issuance.• Process incoming policy premium payments for Commercial and Premier accounts.• Process policy cancellations and reinstatements when applicable in accordance with state specific guidelines.• Manage current inventory of Underwriting office supplies and order supplies as needed as well as report if maintenance is required on departments office equipment.• Promptly answer all direct and/or forwarded incoming calls.• Develop and maintain customer and agent relationships by timely responding and providing accurate service ensuring service standards are met.• Performs other related duties as assigned or reassigned by supervisor.• Maintain compliance with all department and company policies and procedures.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Proficient use of MS Office Suite.• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust for effective working relationships with agents and insureds.• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Training and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree preferred.• 0-2 years of related customer service experience preferably in a call center or service unit.• Previous experience in insurance underwriting practices and procedures preferred.• Demonstrated ability to readily learn and apply new information/concepts in area of practice.Compensation details:37000-41000 Yearly SalaryPIbdcb67d491bc-35216-#######9
