Job Description :
The Service Specialist supports our dealer network and their customers with technical knowledge for the operation and troubleshooting of our product solutions. This position also helps to prepare field staff and dealers to support the products through documentation and direct training that will occur during the off-season.Duties: Including but not limited to:
  • Timely response to inquiries for operational and repair knowledge through email, phone, social media, etc.
  • Coordinate with field teams to research and resolve field issues as required.
  • Proactive interaction with dealers to insure new product understanding.
  • Timely documentation of field issues for CRM and product improvement purposes.
  • Timely field visits with dealers to address urgent and chronic product issues.
  • Interaction with product development to troubleshoot and resolve chronic product performance issues.
  • Represent the company Agricultural division to dealers and their customers in a manner keeping with our brand promise.
  • Act as an advocate of the field staff and dealers to insure appropriate response to product issues.
  • Participate as assigned with training and technical documentation and other departments to ensure optimal knowledge transfer.
  • Perform training of staff and dealers under the direction of the Training Coordinator.
  • Follows all company policies and OSHA safety regulations and wears prescribed safety and protective equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years working with agricultural equipment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical publications and manuals
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public
  • Excellent customer service skills and team player mentality
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Welding experience and ability to perform welding in field settings
  • Bachelor degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Availability to travel up to 25% throughout the US and abroad
  • Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months of employment
