Job Description :
First Community Credit Union is looking to hire a full-time Service Specialist Manager for our Grand Forks Market. You will be responsible for managing the activities of the Financial Service Specialists and provide oversight of and perform a variety of member service and other related deposit and lending servicing activities to meet branch sales and service objectives. Provide supervision to assigned personnel. Ensure staff performs job duties according to approved policies and procedures. Guide and advise staff in the efficient handling of member needs and ensure accuracy and efficiency of all member transactions.
  • Lead by example in the area of sales and service to help encourage staff to meet goals. Demonstrate a strong understanding of products and services, share ideas with team on how to refer and lead by example with identifying member needs.
  • Supervise assigned branch personnel. Provide ongoing coaching and ensure a positive and professional team environment, high quality work and efficiency in operations are maintained, and branch personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective jobs.
  • Provide working leadership and guidance to assigned staff through assignment of work, scheduling, coordinating, providing technical guidance and checking results, and review of assignment progress. Ensure that proper audits, dual control and exposure limits are followed.
  • Responsible for branch cash levels which includes ordering cash, following cash levels assigned, verifying cash received, filling teller cash orders, maintaining full vault security and balancing vault cash daily.
  • Effectively apply management practices in leading the work of assigned branch personnel and building an engaged team. Exercise managerial leadership duties as it relates to staffing, development, training, coaching, motivating, performance management and disciplinary action. Conduct staff meetings to keep staff informed of pertinent policies and procedures affecting their jobs.
