Job DescriptionWe are partnered with a well-established ag operation that prides itself on being a one stop shop for all their customer's mechanical needs. This company works on everything with a motor from small consumer lawn tools, ride on mowers, power sports vehicles, trucks, and heavy ag equipment. They are actively seeking an Diesel Mechanic with heavy ag experience. If you are looking for a career change and have an Ag equipment background, you'll want to take a closer look at this opportunity. Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Working on a variety of Equipment including but not limited to tractors, combines, sprayers, planters, along with other ag-related equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance in a timely manner
- Keep the work area safe and orderly
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Service Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or equivalent experience through school and/or internships
- Ideally 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Additional certifications are helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:This position works the majority of time in the equipment shop. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. At times you may be required to move/operate equipment to figure out what maintenance needs to be performed. The noise level in the shop environment is usually moderate to high. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
