Job Description
The Technician - Service 1 is the entry level position to the Service Tech positions responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.
What your day will look like:
* Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
* Installing mechanical components
* Customer interaction
* Inventory control
* Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
* Maintain Company vehicle
* Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
* Minimum age 18 years old
* Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
* Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
* Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
* Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 0 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
* Knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair preferred
* Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals and use a Multi-Meter preferred
* Refrigeration Certification Type 1 preferred
* Knowledge of Basic Electrical Theory and practical applications
* Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
* Ability to work with all functional team members
* Customer service oriented
* Use hand and power tools
* Frequent sitting
* Continuous bending, kneeling/squatting, overhead reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, exposure to chemicals and weather
* Repeated standing, walking, climbing stairs, typing/keyboard, vehicle operation, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying - up to 50 lbs., exposure to water and noise
