Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery used in manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs
- Communicate with team members and customers to provide status updates and technical support
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Technician in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
