Service Technician - ProFrac Holding : Job Details

Position Summary:A Service Technician will service all pressure control equipment by performing maintenance, repairing, rebuilding and recertifying the equipment. The position will also include delivery of equipment and/or perforating items to customers on occasion.Job Description/Expectations:

• Adhere to all Shop safety requirements.
• Receive, visually inspect, tear down Pressure Control Equipment
• Wash, clean and sand blast parts before rebuilding equipment
• Paint equipment to customer or FHE specifications
• Re-Build Equipment, performing any needed pressure testing & NDT.
• Assist others in the shop to maintain productivity on all active jobs.
• Keep work environment keep and orderly, track, inspect and store tools properly.
• Pick up and/or deliver equipment to customers as needed.
• Deliver Perforating items to customers as needed.
• Any other duties or tasks as assigned, based on business needs and the supervisor(s) request

Knowledge / Skills / Expertise:

• Knowledge and understanding of pressure control equipment and affiliated components
• Compiling, checking and recording information.
• Communication proficiency, organizational skills, mathematical skills, thoroughness, time management.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English
• Good decision-making skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Mechanically inclined - experience with pressure control equipment preferred.

Environmental Conditions and Work Environment:

• Exposure to certain contaminants, at times.
• Exposure to loud noise levels, at times.
• This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
• Use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, etc.

Tools and Equipment Used:May be required to operate forklift to maneuver parts at times, operate overhead crane, sanders, various welding equipment and tools, grinders, generators, wrenches, common hand and power tools.Physical Demands:

• This position requires continual use of your hands, considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, coordination and dexterity, sitting, walking, stooping and handling materials.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds or more without physical restrictions.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision and depth perception.
• Climbing on ladders, may be required at times.
• Employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes/boots, gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection daily.
