Purpose of the position
Business partner for region management providing relevant financial information for decision making covering historical, current and future performance. Challenging the organization for improvements and value creation. Driving as part of the region management the service operational excellence and profitability by improving E2E visibility and control of Installation and Maintenance operations in all its phases in the region service workshops, standard rates calculations as well as utilization. Support in both acquisition operations and any post acquisition integration activities.
Main tasks and responsibilities
* Monitor and analyze monthly results for the region against estimates and financial plans. Preparing business review presentations.
* Working with the region to provide reliable estimates, financial plans and strategic plans of the future
* Challenge the region management on financial performance and drive value creation.
* Collaborate with the division controller to ensure alignment between the division and region
* Support (virtual) team of area controllers in the region
* Proactively supports region management in:
* Implementation of service strategy and the SBU / corporate strategic initiatives
* Tactical decisions about demand and lead development including planning of area account sales, pricing, business cases.(sales campaigns, package deals, service contracts, etc.)
* Steering performance service operations by creating structured sales and gross margin targets, measuring outcome with regular frequency and investigating root-cause of any deviations
* Support forecasting and profitability trends by product and customers
* Review of cost budgets, forecasts, analysis of variances and driving cost optimization initiatives in the region
* Ensure proper CBS cooperation where required (AR, AP and Tax)
* Ensure proper compliance with internal controls and risk management activities
* Prepare periodic management reports
* Support internal development projects
* Support annual inventory counts including follow-up reviews with those sites requiring additional analysis
* Conduct annual branch reviews (site visits)
* Manage 1 direct report (Financial Analyst)
* Provide support to the OTC Team on the collection of past due receivables to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt exposure
* Provide support for internal and external audits
What you'll need to succeed
Education:
* Master degree or Bachelor degree in Business administration, finance or accounting
* Six Sigma Green belt (desired)
Working experience:
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
* Strong knowledge and experience within Finance
* Proven manufacturing experience (processes, standard cost accounting, etc.)
* Experience with SAP and other ERPs and tools
* Genuine interest in understanding the business
* Good written and verbal communication and influencing skills
* Ability to work in a matrix organization and to build networks
* Strong collaboration & communication skills
