Job Opportunity: Springfield, OH2nd Shift *** 4 10s!! ***Our client is looking to hire a 2nd shift Servo Press Operator. Our client is a large family oriented company that is focused on manufacturing different component parts while also handling welding, assembly, metal spinning. They have cut cost for numerous customers that has put the company on a growth track for several decades.The Servo Press Operator will be responsible for operating a servo press for the production of a product, as well as maintaining a log of the piece count, quality measures, and traceability.Job RequirementsJob Requirements:- 2+ years servo press machine exp. - Knowledge of inspection and quality measurement devices, including micrometers, calipers, etc.- Some blueprint reading knowledge required.- Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.- Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.- High School Diploma or GED required.Job Responsibilities/duties:- Operate servo press or other production related functions.- Process components as assigned and place in proper packaging as specified by customer in production packets (tubs, skids, boxes, etc.)- Periodically check for quality of product and maintains proper reports.- Detect and report defective components or questionable conditions to the production coordinator or quality department.- Regulate machinery by setting and adjusting controls.- Determine sequence of operations by studying production packets, blueprints, work orders, etc.- Document and report any issues regarding equipment.Physical Demands:- Frequent bending, stretching, and prolonged standing.- Ability to lift up to 25lbs. continuously throughout the shift.- Hand eye coordination and manual dexterity.
