Sewing and Fulfillment Supervisor - Foamcraft : Job Details

Foamcraft is the leader in foam fabrication and has been for decades. We are looking for someone to join our family as a Sewing and Fulfillment Supervisor at our Greenfield, Indiana location. This is a full-time, first shift position.This individual will supervise the daily operations of theSewing and Fulfillment departments, to include direct supervision of a variety of roles, including industrial sewers, fulfillment associates, and drivers. This front-line leader will motivate the team with the goal of complete on-time shipments within specifications, maximizing output, material yield, and always ensuring safe work practices. They will work hand in hand with the Production Supervisor to coordinate the scheduling of all Brand and Private Label production.An ideal candidate would have previous supervisory experience in an industrial sewing or fulfillment environment, with an emphasis on and passion for training, developing, and engaging people. 5+ years' of manufacturing and/or industrial sewing experience is required. Experience in fulfillment, distribution, or warehouse management is highly desirable. Must have exceptional communication skills and an ability to relate to different personality types, with a focus on problem solving and critical thinking. Must be comfortable with and have experience using technology for scheduling and shipping.Foamcraft was founded in 1952.
