Sewing Room Coordinator - Solomon Page : Job Details

We are looking for a Sewing Room Coordinator for a top apparel company in New York, New York!

Responsibilities:

• Check inventory of foam cups, wires, elastics, and fit fabrics daily
• Place all orders for all sewing components (foam pads, fabric, molded blockers, elastics, wires etc….)
• Retrieve incoming packages from our Hong Kong office
• Check in all received goods closing our orders
• Organize fabric room and store all incoming components
• Communicate with patternmakers and advise components availability
• Order sewing room supplies as needed (cutting blades, pins, needles, poly bags, cutting paper, etc…) .
• Assist sewers in locating components for each sample request
• Daily sewing room priority list maintained
• Master log of all sample requests and due dates

Required Qualifications:

• Great organizational and communication skills
• Spanish speaking - mandatory
• Highly motivated and passionate
• Detail and results oriented
• Excel in creative problem solving, shifting priorities, and meeting deadlines
• Responsive, passionate and thrives in a high energy fast-paced environment
