Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Fabricator will be to operate roll formers, saws, and a plasma table. The role involves fabrication and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications. The successful candidate will read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to execute necessary tasks. This is a job shop environment where all products are designed to order.
Responsibilities
Operate roll formers, saws, and a plasma table.
Perform fabrication and building functions in accordance with product specifications.
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions.
Execute necessary tasks as assigned.
Utilize sheet metal fabrication techniques such as shearing, rolling, sawing, plasma cutting, punching, and forming metals.
Cut and shape metals to be prepped for welders.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience in fabrication and sheet metal work.
Skilled in machine operating, including operating press brakes and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.

Work Environment
Work in a state-of-the-art welding and fabrication shop. You will have your own booth station within one of the 20 welding bays available in the shop. We are in the process of replacing older fabrication equipment with new machines. Our facility is equipped with a brand new ventilation system, exchanging air every 6 minutes to ensure a clean and dust-free environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prior Lake, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
