Sheet Metal Technician - Patton Electronics : Job Details

Description: Patton LLC is a leading provider of manufacturing services to a variety of industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Setup and Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, punch presses, and saws
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure product accuracy
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine the layout of sheet metal parts and components
• Perform quality inspections to ensure that products meet customer specifications and company standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or problems that arise during the manufacturing process
• Collaborate with other team members to improve product design and manufacturing processes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in sheet metal fabrication preferred
• Experience with Strippit Punch Press and/or Amada Press Brake preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly
• Proficient in the use of sheet metal fabrication equipment and measuring instruments
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines
• Physical ability to lift and move sheet metal products and equipment as needed
