Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is currently seeking a Part Time Licensed Mental Health Clinician - LCSW for our St. Bridget's Residence in Newark, NJ. (23 hours per week - see schedule below).Tues & Wed: 12pm-8pmFri: 12pm-7pmSt. Bridget's is a transitional and emergency shelter residence that provides housing and supportive services to homeless men living with HIV/AIDS. Based on individual needs, clients can access:Educational workshops on nutrition, health, stress reduction and other life skills areas;Referral to mental health and/or substance abuse counseling;Case management services;Advocacy services; andRecreational activities.Schedule for the Licensed Clinician - LCSW:Clinician will be working 23 hours per week:Monday and Tuesday: 11AM - 7PMThursday: 11AM - 6PMJob Description for the Licensed Clinician - LCSW:The Clinician is responsible for providing individual and group counseling to assess clients' needsCollaborate with clinical team and treatment providers to provide a continuity of careConduct psychosocial assessments and make necessary mental health referralsProvide mental health follow-up during hospitalizations and times of decompensationsProvide crisis counseling and documentation of services via progress note in a timely mannerEnsure contractual funder requirements such as completing data entry via CHAMP/HMISFacilitate groups to increase clients' knowledge and provide pertinent information.Job Requirements for the Licensed Clinician - LCSW:Master's degree in behavioral health related fieldValid LCSW2-3 years of behavioral health related experienceVisit our website ccannj.comCURRENT EMPLOYEES:Please be advised that current employees applying to open positions within the Agency are required to fill out an Agency Internal Job Application Form which is available for download to all employees on HR's public folders in Outlook.
