Shelter Residential Advisor - 3rd Shift - ZEPF CENTER : Job Details

The Youth Residential Specialist/ Aide will participate in the daily planning routine by conducting admissions and discharges, assessing needs, assisting with linkage to assistance and stabilization of needs, supervising, monitoring, and engaging youth always. The Youth Residential Specialist/ Aide will provide supportive services and actively maintain the daily operations of youth shelter programming. The shelter programming will ensure there is a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth and co-workers by following all policies and procedures. Residential Specialists/ Aide will provide case management and supportive services. This position will require a comprehensive understanding of cultural and linguistic competencies in working with youth, family systems, and minorities from diverse backgrounds. The residential specialist should be capable of maintaining a flexible schedule, which may include on-call responsibilities and night shifts.
