Walgreens Shift Lead - MARTINSVILLE, Indiana

Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.

Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers and patients, resolving issues, and answering questions.

Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management as necessary.

Assists and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes.

Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.

Assists management in reviewing order exceptions and reverse logistics.

Evaluates and develops displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandise.

Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities.

Ensures compliance with pricing regulations and local laws regarding regulated products.

Assists with bookkeeping activities as necessary.

Maintains store condition and appearance, requesting repairs as needed.

Assists with food item separation and stock rotation.

Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development:

Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.

Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Communications:

Acts as a liaison between management and non-management team members.

Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Basic Qualifications:
