Shift Lead - Gimme A Break Childcare Center : Job Details

Gimme A Break Childcare Center is seeking a dedicated Shift Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. This role collaborates with our Director and Program Manager, as well as works as a Teacher Assistant. The hours are Monday - Friday, no weekends, no nights! This position is cross-trained in all the classrooms, supports lesson plan prep alongside the Program Manager, and leads all closing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Director and Program Manager
• Assist in lesson plan preparation
• Lead closing activities
• Support various classrooms as needed

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license
• Experience with children is required; experience in a childcare center is preferred
• 1 year of teaching experience (Required)
• Ability to commute to Sioux Falls, SD 57106 (Required)

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
