Role Description: Are you passionate about BBQ, leadership, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Saddleback BBQ is looking for a driven and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you'll work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth operations, manage team performance, and delight our guests. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys taking on leadership responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead by Example: Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, setting the standard for excellent service and a positive guest experience.

Team Coordination: Manage staff shifts, ensuring the team is on task and fully equipped to handle busy periods.

Customer Engagement: Assist guests with inquiries, address any issues promptly, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile.

Operational Excellence: Step in for the General Manager as needed, including opening and closing the restaurant, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.

Strategic Support: Collaborate with the General Manager on planning and executing daily and weekly strategies to drive success.

Qualifications:

Motivated Leader: A self-starter with strong organizational skills and the drive to take initiative.

Effective Communicator: Able to connect with both staff and guests, fostering a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.

Problem Solver: Resourceful and proactive, with a knack for handling challenges calmly and efficiently.

Team Player: Willingness to support team members and step into different roles as needed.

Weekend Warrior: Availability during weekends is essential to support peak hours and team needs.

Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus, but not required.
