Job Summary

Shift Leaders will learn to work at every position inside Jimmy John's and work side by side with managers and eventually learn how to effectively lead the store. A training process will be followed and the timeline will be based on individual performance.

Shift Leaders are required to ensure all employees provide world-class customer service, and follow the systems and procedures 100% to ensure restaurant profitability. Shift Leaders will oversee the execution of fast, accurate sandwiches while maintaining a clean organized unit.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure every customer gets world-class service.
  • Perform all duties of In-shoppers and drivers.
  • Learn to effectively manage a staff of 2-10 employees. Assign, oversee and evaluate employee work and solve employee issues.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
  • Assist in the supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of food.
  • Forecasting sales and food items.
  • Responsible for ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning supplies, and paper supplies for unit to ensure minimum loss.
  • Route deliveries and serve delivery drivers to maximize delivery business.
  • Complete daily food preparation and all opening procedures.
  • Complete closing procedures.
  • Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
