DESCRIPTIONThe Shift Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooters Amazing customer service experienceMaintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rushUnderstand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent mannerLead team members to stay on task with store chores and other tasksEnsure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesServe as a keyholder, following all opening and closing proceduresDemonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptabilityQUALIFICATIONSPassion for peopleWillingness to master brand recipes and techniquesEnergetic, fast-paced, flexible work styleAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentAbility to teach others and communicate effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesire to take on a leadership role in a growing companyEstablished in 1998, Scooter's Coffee has distinguished itself as one of the premiere specialty coffee companies in theindustry.
