Shipfitter - Tradesmen International, LLC : Job Details

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Shipfitters for projects located in San Diego, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $41/hr based on experience and skill level. If you are a Shipfitter eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope:

• Assemble, cut, and grind metal structural parts
• Align parts in relation to each other
• Tack and weld foundation and structural members
• Perform layout work according to blueprints or reference lines
• Mark locations of holes to be drilled, drive wedges, and install temporary fasteners
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• OSHA 10 Maritime and Firewatch certification
• Must have respirator fit testing complete
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Minimum 2 years of on the job site experience
• T1 welding certificate
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
