Shipper - $19hr - Day Shift - Ingram Content Group LLC : Job Details

Receive cartons down appropriate shipping line, create pallet label, scan, palletize cartons, build pallets correctly, hand wrap completed pallets. Lifts cartons on and off conveyor to palletize for carrier pickup Correct carton weight as needed. Utilize portable scanning device to update and palletize cartons. Print and attach additional shipping/customs documents as needed. Use hand or motorized pallet jack to transport pallets to machine wrapper. Machine wrap pallets, attach pallet labels, and stage for carrier pickup. Perform ongoing cleanup and empty trash at end of shift. Reading comprehension skills up to high school level. Writing skills up to high school level. Math skills basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction. Computer skills keyboard, mouse, desktop, portable scanner. Attention to detail. Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment. Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
