**Shipper - Receiver**

at RightHand Robotics Somerville, MA RightHand Robotics (RHR) is building a world-class team to solve the biggest problem in e- commerce logistics: how to fulfill orders, despite demand thats growing at six times the rate of available labor. Our cutting-edge robotic picking systems manipulate hundreds of thousands of items - its a software driven, hardware-enabled technology that meets the increasing demands of e-commerce order fulfillment and other industries.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Operations team as a **Shipper - Receiver.** Your primary responsibility will be to handle all shipping and receiving activities, delivery of received packages and move material around building, maintain an organized shipping area.

**You Will:**

* Verify, count, weigh and measure incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other paperwork

* Unpack and do quality checks on incoming shipments, rejecting damaged goods, recording shortages and working with shipper to correct

* Generate UPS/Fedex labels for domestic shipments

* Receive inbound materials by verifying labeling and quantities of material against documentation and enter in inventory system and ensure proper storage

* Routine maintenance/repair of equipment

* Other shipping/receiving or material handling duties as assigned

* Maintain neat and organized material storage

* Ensure timely follow up to delayed or pending items to ensure deadlines are achieved

* Understand and facilitate MSDS and other shipping requirements including weights and measurements

* Report safety hazards, quality and production issues to supervision immediately

* Participate in inventory and ensures accuracy

* Complies with all Company policies and procedures

* Participates in all job related safety training

* Other duties and projects as assigned. We are a start-up so lots to do!

**You Are (or You Have):**

* 2 years as a Shipper - Receiver

* High School diploma or GED certification

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistent within OSHA guidelines

* Forklift experience preferred but also willingness to be certified

* Ability to work as a part of a collaborative team and be able to multi-task
